Will Silverstone be the future of the British Grand Prix?

Background

The British Grand Prix takes place this weekend and the British Drivers' Racing Club, the owners of Silverstone, have activated the break clause to stop the circuit hosting the British Grand Prix after 2019. The current contract was signed in 2009 and the terms included a 5% annual escalation fee, which meant that the track paid £12m for the race in 2010 and could have paid over £27m by 2026. The BRDC cited this as just one of the reasons why the clause was activated but will Silverstone be the home of the British Grand Prix in the future?
